At EBY, 10% of net sales go to empower women out of poverty and into business through microfinance.
When you join EBY, you give the hardworking women of our beneficiary countries an access to power.
SIGN ME UPFEARLESS: WOMEN OF HAITI
We choose different beneficiary countries because empowerment has no limits. Poverty shows no bias, and fierce, hard-working women cover the globe in every color, class, and country. Business is the most sustainable solution - that's where we come in, and you, too.

For our latest beneficiary country Haiti, we partnered with Haiti’s largest microfinance institution, Fonkoze. They have a microfinance health program called Boutik Sante. To date, this has provided improved access to healthcare (health products, services + education) to over 900,000 rural Haitians via Fonkoze clients who have been trained to be Community Health Entrepreneurs. By 2020, they will have served over 2 million people throughout rural Haiti.
The women whose stories we captured in Haiti overcame losing their homes in the Port-au-Prince earthquake. They now have their own small business working as Community Health Entrepreneurs, where they provide medical supplies, over-the-counter medications and treat children in the community. Before Boutik Santé, people in their communities would have to travel for hours to get to a doctor or access to basic but potentially life-saving over-the-counter medication.
Odette’s words when speaking about Haitian women deeply resonate with us - “Whatever may happen to us, we can overcome it. We will not stop for anything, we will always move forward.”
SMALL LOANS. BIG IMPACT.
At EBY, we champion women by simply making a choice about what underwear we put on every morning. It has been proven over and over again globally that if you want to lift a community from poverty, invest in its women. She will return that invest exponentially, impacting her family, her community, and her country.
Factory video
EBY has chosen to work with a factory in Sri Lanka that upholds our company’s core values surrounding Women’s Empowerment Principles
These Principles were developed jointly with the United Nations
Meet Dhammika. She works for the factory EBY uses to manufacture their seamless underwear. It has been a year or so since I started working here. There are six siblings in my family. I am the eldest. Since my father is unable to work a job the supports our family, I wanted to work for an organization like this. Feel it’s my responsibility as an elder sister and I want to set an example for my siblings. I actually look forward to coming to work.
From the managers to the machine operators, we are all treated the same. Everyone who works here is treated like family, so I feel at home. Here we are only one family, and if anyone faces issues with work, we all work together to solve it. It makes me happy to work on a product like EBY that will help other women.
EBY is proud to partner with a factory that is deeply committed to the empowerment of women. Made with love.
You can make an impact just by changing the underwear you wear.
